DIABETES RISK FACTORS YOU CAN CHANGE
Prediabetes or type 2 diabetes quite often do not show any symptoms. Thus, you would not know that you may have this condition. Therefore, it is essential to know the risk factors. There are two kinds of risk factors—Modifiable and Non-modifiable.1,2
Modifiable risk factors are the factors that can be altered by adopting healthy changes. This can help diminish or delay the development of diabetes.1
Overweight/

- If you lose 5 to 7% of your body weight, the risk reduces by half
Physical

- Untreated high blood pressure is linked with increased risk of diabetes
